OOTD: WEARING MESH

Lately, I've been buying and wearing a lot of mesh. I would say my style is inspired by the grunge/ punk/ goth look so mesh has become a key staple in my wardrobe. When wearing mesh I always worry about showing too much flesh (hey, that rhymed!).
That's why I am in love with this mesh midi dress I found in TK Maxx. I love rooting through the rails at TK Maxx because I find they're clothing very unique. I know that if I buy something from there, I won't see twenty carbon copies of the same outfit! There were two options of this dress- the midi and a shorter version. I decided upon the midi as I just felt it looked better on me and I've never owned a midi dress before, so it was something new. I love this dress and how it looks. I love the simple, slightly shorter cami dress it came with and feel like it gives a really cool girl vibe.

Another love of mine is leather jackets, I recently brought a mustard yellow one from Zara and I have been wearing it none stop! I wear a lot of black (duh) and if I want to add a pop of colour I'll wear one of my colourful jackets. This was a pretty sophisticated look for me and I feel like this would be something I would wear if I was trying to be a lady and going for cocktails or out for a nice dinner (which will probably never happen).

and then I remembered I hate wearing my hair up and took it down...

Dress- TK Maxx // Leather Jacket- Zara // Boots- H&M

I've never really been into midi dresses because I didn't think they suited me or my style but I'm really glad I took the plunge and brought this and I know own two more midi dresses!!

Till next time,
