OOTD: MY POOCH AND ME

Being away for uni has taught me one thing: I really missed my dog! Growing up my sisters and I asked on pretty much a daily basis for a dog. Their answer was always the same: no. So when they turned up with this lil fluff ball 5 years ago, it was easily one of the best days of my life. Our lil pup has completed our family and she is just the cutest and happiest doggy we could have asked for!

Since I've come back from uni for Easter she has not left me alone! Which I completely don't mind but it just reminds me how much I've missed having her around when I'm not here. It was requested on Twitter a while back that I did an OOTD post with my dog and your wish is my command! Now I love Bean (thats her nickname, her real name is Coco) with all my heart but she is a pain in the arse to get to sit still! She is so full of energy and is constantly running around when we go for walks, it's one of the things I love about her. But, geez! This has easily been the hardest shoot I've ever done! I didn't want to stop her from running around and playing- but I really needed some pics. Luckily, we managed to get her to sit for a few!

Now it's Spring I've put all my coats into storage and can finally say it's jacket weather! I've featured this leather jacket before on the blog and will probably feature it again. This is a very typical everyday look that I usually wear. I love the warmer weather but I will still be wearing black throughout the summer because ya know- goth. I feel like by pairing my usual black with a brighter colour like yellow makes it look like I enjoy the sun!

Leather Jacket: Zara // Striped Tee: Zara // Trousers: Tesco // Shoes: Converse // Choker: Primark // Sunnies: Primark

Outtakes because shooting with a dog is fucking hard!:
because nothing says I love you more than picking up their shit...

when the wind gets too much...

get back and love me!!!
Since, I've (unofficially) moved back home now I've lost my photographer Holly who has been shooting all of my outfit posts and since she lives in Suffolk and I live in Nottingham I doubt she'll travel to take my pics- I know selfish and rude ;)! I've also lost the pretty sights of Lincoln and the incredible brick wall I found to use as a background. So whilst I try to find a quiet place to shoot not too far from my house, I'll most likely be shooting in my garden or where I walk my dog. On the plus side, I have a new photographer! I've asked/forced my younger sister to be my personal photographer. She is only twelve and I think she's done an amazing job so far on the shoots we've done! But she's only twelve and has never used a camera before so some photos will be a lil unfocused and not as polished as before, whilst I teach her how to be the best photographer! But I don't think it'll take her long based on these photos!

Let me know all about your pets in the comments below!

I love how you've styled the jacket, I've seen similar ones in shops but I wasn't sure what would look good with them, you look great as always though!
