What are you looking for?

Eyebrows. I feel like a trend that has pretty much taken over the world is the want/need to have flawless eyebrows. I know that I am always on the look out for ways in which I can up my brow game. I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to eyebrows I wish were my own and am in constant envy of people I see that are blessed with good brows. So, I was beyond excited when Billion Dollar Brows sent me their Universal Eyebrow Pencil* to try.
I was not blessed with naturally thick or even decent eyebrows! I hate looking at photos of myself before I started doing my eyebrows because I just look ridiculous. When I do my eyebrows, I want them to look naturally thicker and like there is a lil more hair towards the end of my brows than what I was born with.

The lovely people over at Billion Dollar Brows (which btw is such a cool name!), sent me their Universal Brow Pencil to try and I have loved trialling this product over the past few weeks. So this product claims that it can suit EVERY eyebrow shade! I'm not going to lie, part of me was really skeptical about this idea- surely an eyebrow pencil cannot create a perfect eyebrow for my blonde sister and then the same pencil can do the same for me as a black haired gal?! Well in short, yes. Yes it can.

The thinking behind this product is that, it's all about building your eyebrow through the short precise strokes you use from the pencil. I tested this out on both myself and my fair haired sister. When doing her eyebrows, I used a lighter stroke so the brow pencil filled in her brow to her natural eyebrow shade. I then used the eyebrow spool on the other end of the brush to blend the pencil into her brows to create a really natural effect. When using the brow pencil on myself, I did have to press on a lot harder than I did for my younger sister and I had to fill them in a bit more but that was to be expected, as I have black eyebrows.

I've never really used an eyebrow pencil since I had a bad experience with one and it really put me off. I tend to stick to brow promade and then use a matte eyeshadow to fill in my brows, particularly at the end of my brows, as that is where my eyebrows tend to be non existent. I found that when using the pencil, it was so easy to fill in the end of my brows and there were no patches where you could see my lack of hair! I was pleasantly surprised by this, as I have a mini battle every morning with my brows to fill in this part and I was really happy with how thick and full it made this part of my eyebrows look.

This is a product I will be continuing to use in the future. This product is really good for creating a soft and natural eyebrow, with the pencil being perfect to create small precise strokes. In the future I would probably use this alongside my matte eyeshadow as I feel that is better suited to creating my super dark brows!

Have you used this product before, what did you think?

Till next time,
