BURTON BABES: THE CORPSE BRIDE

"With this hand I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, I will be your wine. With this cup, I will fight your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine".
The Corpse Bride has become one of the films I watch over and over again when I'm in need of some spooky Burton goodness! Some of my favourite Tim Burton films are his animations because I just find that they just create this perfectly twisted magical film. I love The Corpse Bride, I feel the plot is so original, I love the music and I just love how, in a way, it reminds me of a twisted Disney film! I love the character of The Corpse Bride and when I was younger I used to look at her and think I hope when I'm a rotting corpse- I look this good! I mean she looks incredible and I feel like that's one of the main reasons I love watching The Corpse Bride because she's such a pretty dead person!

I had a blast creating this look! I feel like this series has really challenged me creatively. I'm the kind of person that has the same makeup routine and the most adventurous I'll get is changing my lipstick colour! So, to be able to create a look that is so different and try to recreate the makeup from the film was a huge challenge for me. I'm no makeup artist but I am so proud of myself for being able to pull this off!

The blue kinda rubbed my hands and I had great difficulty getting the blue face paint on my arms, but all that aside I feel like this my favourite Halloween look I've ever created so far! I had the best time channeling my inner The Corpse Bride and I mean we have one thing in common - we're both gonna die alone so...

Till next time,
