BLOGGING EVENTS ROUNDUP

So, last week I had potentially the busiest blogging week ever, with attending three events! Blogging events have been something I've only just started going to (or being asked to go to haha!) and every one I've been to has been a ton of fun and has given me the opportunity to be surrounded by other bloggers who just get the need for good lighting! So, instead of me creating three individual posts, I decided to do almost a quick roundup of the three events I had the pleasure in attending!

GETTING PARTY READY WITH INTU

I was over the moon when I was asked to attend this event held by Intu Victoria Centre in my hometown of Nottingham! I love our shopping centre so I was beyond thrilled when I was invited to their bloggers event. The event included cocktails, dessert, a trend fashion hunt and a makeover! The makeover was without a doubt my favourite part of the day and I felt super lucky as I was chosen to have a makeover at the brand new Nars counter! I was slightly apprehensive when I knew I was getting a makeover because my makeup is very particular and alternative. I was secretly hoping I wouldn't get a counter like MAC or Charlotte Tilbury because whilst they are amazing brands, they're just not me! Nars very much fits with my style and I felt like a true goth queen by the time my lovely makeup artist had finished with me! I loved learning all about the brand, the different products and I have been trying to recreate (and failing) these brows since I went! Nars will definitely be a brand I am planning to buy from, as a result of this- I need everything that was put on my face and to look like this every day!

ANOTHER? WINE BAR OPENING

My favourite kind of events are the ones that involve alcohol so this was a matched made in heaven! Another? is a new kind of self service wine bar in Nottingham and I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening night! I loved the concept of this self serving wine bar, as upon arrival we received a pre paid card that you then inserted into the wine machine, chose the wine you wanted and size glass and there was the wine! I was really impressed and thought it was a really fresh and innovative idea that I had never seen before! It was also really great getting the chance to speak to the owner of the bar and see how he turned his dream into a reality, I loved how you could tell how passionate he was about this and it just made the whole thing more enjoyable, and any event where I leave feeling one top of the world a.k.a drunk, is a win from me!

PREZZYBOX JINGLE MINGLE

Despite it feeling slightly wrong to be attending a Christmas event in October, the Prezzybox event was a great night to meet other bloggers, see some of the fab presents on offer from Prezzybox and learn how to create and establish a great blogger/ brand relationship in the panel talk with TalkBeckyTalk. The best thing about this event had to be getting to hang with my girl Juliet from NotCapulet. I met Juliet at an event in the summer and we just clicked! She is honestly one of the most genuine and funny people I've ever met and I'm so glad I get to go to these events with her because we just have the best time! I also got to meet Kelly from BloggerOff who I have been following on Instagram for a while now and she honestly makes me laugh so much, I love her different take to blogging and just laughing at herself and blogging in general! We had such a fab time together and we were lucky enough to get to make our own perfume! I usually hate the smell of perfumes but I created one I would love to wear every day- called Hallowqueen for obvious reasons and I actually won best perfume name!

I had a blast attending a ton of events this week and felt like I had such a blogger week! Can my life be like this all the time?! Let me know what your favourite event you've attended has been?

Till next time,
