FEED ME PIZZA & TELL ME I'M PRETTY

Have you ever seen a more relevant sign in your entire life? Nothing makes me happier than eating pizza so I was over the moon when Happy Dough Lucky invited me down to come and try their Italian inspired pizza.

Happy Dough Lucky is a pizza and dessert pop shop in my hometown of Nottingham. I've been following their process for a while as they travelled around Italy to learn from the best and bring back the heart of Italy pizza to Notts. Now, anyone who knows me knows how much pizza means to me. It is without a doubt my favourite food and I feel like I am a pretty tough critic - I know what makes a good pizza, so I was curious to see how Happy Dough Lucky ranked in my mind of the perfect pizza.

I decided to test this out by going with the classic Margherita pizza and boy, did it deliver! Like holy cheesus it was amazing! It was a truly cheesy feast and I fell more in love with it, with every bite! I have to give a special mention to just how amazing the dough was as I am a carb fan and loved how thick the pizza dough was - paired with the cheese and tomato base - in my eyes was the recipe for the perfect pizza! Have you ever seen the gif, where they pull the slice away and all the cheese comes away in pure cheesy stringy goodness? That was my reality and I was in heaven. For dessert, they were telling us the options and as soon as I heard Coco Pops ice cream, I knew I needed to try it out. I am a cereal fan, so the thought of this being an ice cream flavour was too much and I probably got a little too excited about this. It was everything - it's hard to describe but as you can imagine it was a cereal lovers dream. Overall, the food was expectational and I'm still dreaming about how good it was.

For me, a true highlight of Happy Dough Lucky was it's exceptionally cool decor! I love The Lace Market area of Nottingham and this pop up shop was filled with the coolest decor and was pretty much a bloggers dream! There were brick walls everywhere, the coolest saying and signs and of course neon lights. I couldn't stop looking everywhere, there was so much to see and I just wanted to take a ton of photos! I managed to get a few shots as the decor was just too good to not shoot! My fave has to be the no boys sign in the girls toilets!

I mean I feel like this last photo pretty much sums up my time visiting Happy Dough Lucky! I had an ace time eating the best food! Happy Dough Lucky is a pop up so will be only around for the next 8 weeks! So if you fancy coming to Notts to see what it's all about, you better get yourself there soon! I will most definitely be visiting there and have already been telling everyone I know to come with me so I can go again! Thanks for having me Happy Dough Lucky!

Till next time,
