TEAM STAYING IN

Do you ever see photos of someone on a night out and get FOMO. Nope, yeah me either. If you, like me, can't think of anything worse than having to go on a night then this is the post for you.

I feel I've come to realise that going out just isn't for me. There was a time where I was out every weekend. I'd have an entire "going out" wardrobe to choose from, go out until the early hours of the morning, dance my little butt off and wake up with not even a headache. Well, now is a very different story but the main reason I'm not into going out the way I used to is because I just really don't enjoy it. It's way too much effort for something I don't really enjoy. I went out recently and well let's just say,  it wasn't for me. I spent most of my time thinking about getting in my bed, kept asking myself "aren't they cold?" or wondering why nobody seemed to own a coat. I knew roughly 3 songs all night and wishing I hadn't worn damn uncomfortable shoes! I'd much prefer to spend my evenings at a weekend chilling in comfies, getting all the snug in bed and watching a film or playing on my playstation with a takeaway! Everything about staying in appeals to me. I just feel like it is the best way to spend my time and I have come to realise that I have no FOMO about going out at all. It just isn't for me anymore and that is completely fine! Give me a Papa John's and Big Moth combo over a night out any day!

Don't get me wrong, I am still a big lover of going out for a drink but I'm more of a chill out drinking person these days. I love going to a cosy pub, getting a few drinks and having a conversation. There's a bar in my town that has a ton of games in it like basketball, air hockey and a donkey derby and it's just the best fun and that is definitely more my scene these days. I find it so much more relaxing and have such a good time when I go out for a casual night in a pub instead of feeling like I have to dress up and go and stand around for hours listening to music I have never heard before and leaves me with a headache. Now, I know this might make me seem really old and boring but I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way and I think it's time for the rise of Team Staying In! Team comfies for the win.

The most fun I've ever had shooting photos for my blog and the way I probably look most of the time. A couple of years ago I never would have even considered posting a photo without my makeup and hair being perfect let alone one where I'm not wearing any and chucked my hair in a bun. I am a strong member of Team Staying In and I think it's time more of us embraced the lack of FOMO for going out and order a takeaway and binge watch the night away.

Let me know if you're part of team stay in or team go out and why?

Till next time,

  3. Your outfit looks extremely soft, comfortable and cozy yet still very fashionable.
You look adorable with your hair back in a bun and no makeup.
I am part of the stay in team, tend to be a recluse,
and love wearing soft comfortable clothes while binge-watching.
